Can you quote a price before I visit?
We can often provide a GBP estimate if you share your device model and the exact symptoms. For some faults, we may need to inspect the device first to confirm the cause and the correct fix.
You can see typical ranges on our Pricing page. For anything outside the usual, we confirm the estimate before repair work begins.
Warranty

Privacy
Do you need my passcode or Apple ID?
Do you need my passcode or Apple ID?
No. We do not ask for your passcode, Apple ID, Google account, or personal logins. If a specific feature test requires device access, you can unlock the phone while you are present and lock it again immediately after the check.
If your phone cannot be unlocked, we can still do many hardware repairs and run checks that do not require access to personal content.
Screens
Will a new screen look and feel normal?
Will a new screen look and feel normal?
Our goal is a clean, aligned fit and a responsive touch experience. After a screen replacement, we run relevant checks such as brightness behaviour, touch grid responsiveness, and sensor function.
Some devices may display system messages after repair (for example, parts reporting or calibration notices). We will explain what you may see for your model during check-in.
Batteries
What should I expect after a battery replacement?
What should I expect after a battery replacement?
You should see more consistent daily runtime and more stable performance if the old battery was degraded. We check charging behaviour and basic thermal behaviour after fitting.
Your phone may take a few charge cycles to recalibrate usage estimates, especially if it was heavily throttling before.
Charging
My phone only charges at certain angles. Is it always the port?
My phone only charges at certain angles. Is it always the port?
Not always. It can be the cable, debris in the port, wear on the connector, or internal damage. We start with a structured diagnostic to avoid replacing parts unnecessarily.
Once we identify the cause, we explain options and confirm the estimate before proceeding.
Liquids
Do you repair water-damaged phones?
Do you repair water-damaged phones?
We can assess liquid exposure and explain what is realistically repairable. Outcomes vary widely based on the liquid type, the time since exposure, and what components were affected.
We avoid promising results for liquid-damaged devices. The goal is an honest assessment and a sensible next step.

What to bring for a smooth check-in
A quick checklist that makes diagnostics faster and avoids delays.
Your device and symptoms
Tell us what happened and what changed. Specific symptoms help us choose the right tests and avoid guesswork.
Example: āOnly charges on one sideā or āTouch misses near the edge.ā
Cables (when relevant)
If your issue is charging or data connection, bring the cable you normally use. It helps us isolate whether the fault is the cable, the port, or the adapter.
We may test using workshop cables as well.
Access only if needed
If you want us to verify a feature that requires the phone to be unlocked, you can do that yourself during the check and lock it again right after.
No passcodes or account details required.
